John Ghost is de Gentse band rond gitarist-componist Jo De Geest. In hun instrumentale muziek zijn invloeden te horen van modale jazz, free jazz, hedendaags klassiek en progressieve rockmuziek. Hier en daar kan John Ghost erg filmisch of sferisch klinken terwijl op andere momenten alles draait rond grooves. Improvisatie brengt bij de band de link tussen grote stukken doorgecomponeerd werk.
