"Snaarmaarwaar are a trio of mandolin, mandola and guitar and they play together with a great sense of unity of purpose. Their fine album is made up from their own compositions, mainly those of their mandola player, Maarten Decombel, but you do get the strong impression that they all know their traditional music and dance rhythms. There is a nice sense of programming in the album."
