Laudantes Consort o.l.v. Guy Janssens
Dirigent Guy Janssens wil met zijn Laudantes Consort dat requiem door de eeuwen heen laten horen. Op vier cd's laat hij requiems horen van de 15de tot de 21ste eeuw. Van Johannes Ockeghem tot de wereldpremière van het requiem van Pierre Bartholomée. Op het eerste volume van dit project staan twee 15e-eeuwse werken.

The very act of conceiving the history of western music as a continuum and not in self-contained compartments is worthy of praise. And if we add to this excellent performances, rich in nuances that highlight the good taste and sensitivity of the musician, as well as the desire to offer a product that is both useful and of high-quality, one can only applaud.
